The 145 hp bike I mentioned is my touring bike, not my sportbike. My
sportbike (a 600) is only 123 hp.
The touring bike (FJR1300) is quite well suited to long rides. Great ergos,
and 300+ miles between fuel stops.

I'm curious what year your 750 Virago is/was? 400 pounds seems kinda light,
since the 535 is heavier than that dry. Can't find anything about a 750.

750 is rated at 490 pounds, cut off the 75 pound exhaust system, the air
cleaners / pods, the ais system and other "extra" stuff... a 400 pound
guess seemed correct... and thats about what it feels like when your
trying to pick it up off the ground!
I see the 535 is rated at 408 pounds... pretty heavy for what most
people think is a little bike... what kind of HP does a 535 put out? ~Dave
