I’m looking to buy a virago 1100. The only problem it has is that the
rear cylinder misfires when cold. Once the engine warms up it runs
great. I watched as the owner pressure tested the cylinder and it is
within specs. We also tested the wire for breaks but the tester showed
none. Any help would be apprieciated.

I suppone it may depend on what he wants for it. However sometime brains go
through ones arse when buying a bike. For what it is worth, unless well
discountes (you do not know how long the seller may have been trying to
remedy the fault) stick to your guns and make sure the problem is sorted
before you part with your hard earned. Virago's are getting a bit rarer
these days from what I see BUT there are still plenty of good ones out
there. Go to the VSOC and most for sale there have been (but not all) have
been doted upon. Not to say your chap is not straight up but them it is
your loot and there are alternatives - unless the price is right. If you do
find a tip top Virago it is worth a small premium - you get what you pay for
most of the time.
My 4 pennyworth.
