Bought a yz250f with many hipo mods, all good except for exhaust, its
painfully loud.
It has springs that hold the muffler in place on the exhaust pipe, does a
stock muffler attach the same way or does the pipe need to be replaced as
well?
Looked on ebay for an OEM system and they list a muffler called a silencer,
is this a play on words or will it really quiet the bike down?
Will sacrifice some performance to silence uptight neighbors.
Thanks,
John

if you have an expansion chamber, you can usually buy a
small can that goes on the end to quiet it down.
silencer is just another term for muffler. means nothing
special.
